A 43-year-old Warrant Officer, Motlalepule
Amos Motaung who was based at Phuthaditjhaba
SAPS has been convicted and sentenced for the
murder of his 36-year-old mistress on 01/02/2010.
The incident took place at the policeman’s home in
Clubview, Phuthaditjhaba. The Independent Complaints
Directorate (ICD) investigated a case of murder against

Convicted Of Assault GBH

A SAPS Clocolan based Warrant Officer
(WO) has been convicted of Assault with
intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH)
and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment.
This follows an investigation by the Independent
Complaints Directorate (ICD) into allegations that
the policeman assaulted a father and his daughter
(complainant) on 15 February 2008 in Clocolan, Free
State.

two (2) police officers for
Attempted Murder. Warrant
Officer (WO) FB Ngcobo (45) and

both stationed at Umlazi Field
Unit are alleged to have shot
and injured a 25-year-old male
whilst on foot patrol in the
Bhekithemba area, KwaZulu Natal.
The shooting occurred in the
evening of 21 May 2010.

Nkabinde has been arrested for
Rape after an ICD investigation.
It is alleged that on 03 July 2010
the suspect, Constable Nkabinde,
kidnapped his ex-girlfriend after
they had attended funeral. He later
took her to a back room at a nearby
tavern where he repeatedly raped her.
