An Independent Complaints
Directorate (ICD) investigation
has resulted in the conviction
and sentencing of former Reunion
SAPS constable, Jomo Thabane
Dube (29) for murder. The former
policeman was today sentenced to
life imprisonment by the Durban
High Court for killing his then
girlfriend, the late Zodwa
Shongwe at Kenville informal
settlement on 12 March 2009.
