Mission
“We serve the public interest by acting with
integrity and in accordance with our legislative
mandate to investigate, amongst others, any
misconduct or offences committed by members of the
South African Police Service and Municipal Police
Services.
The above Mission Statement highlights the ICD’s
boundaries and deals with the organisation’s present
business scope of ‘who we are and what we do now’.
It is explicit about our client focus – serving the
public interest, our present capabilities, and helps
us to chart a strategic course.
