MEDIA ADVISORY 21 January 2004 The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) will be holding a media briefing on Thursday, 22 January 2004 at the ICD House in Pretoria, at 10h00. The Executive Director of the ICD, Adv Karen McKenzie will inform about the forthcoming policing oversight conference to be hosted by the ICD on 26 - 29 January 2004, at the Indaba Hotel, Fourways, Johannesburg. The purpose of the aforementioned conference is to advocate and lobby for external policing oversight, as well as the establishment of a chapter for policing oversight, in Africa.
