Post : Supply Chain Management Clerk (Ref: 4/3/1/1)
Salary : R 51 492 per annum
Centre : Pretoria

Requirements: The ideal candidate must be in possession of a National Diploma/Degree in Purchasing/Logistics Management or equivalent qualification. The incumbent must be self driven and be computer literate. He/she must be able to have knowledge of asset management and Logis, good word processing skills/ knowledge and good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Basic knowledge of the PFMA is a requirement. Applicant must be able to work under pressure, independently and be dedicated to their work.

Duties: Key competencies include:

  • Capture receipt and issues on Logis system;
  • Update bin cards and receive delivery of goods and services;
  • Capture and update assets register on the Logis system;
  • Request quotations for goods and services;
  • Compile monthly BEE report and assist in stock taking;
  • Capture requests on Logis, and follow up on orders;
  • Filing of appropriate correspondence an opening of files where required;
  • Sending and receiving e-mail and faxes.

Post : Assistant Manager: Security Management (Ref: 4/3/1/1)
Salary : R 139 302 per annum
Centre : Pretoria

Requirements: Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelors degree/diploma, while a qualification in Security Management will be an added advantage or studying such a qualification. Thorough knowledge of Security Services, management experience, computer literacy and a valid card driver’s license are essential. Applicants must be willing to work under pressure and extensive hours.

Duties: Key competencies include:

  • Manage the security function (personnel, document, physical, communication, computer and surveillance security);
  • Draft internal Policies based on the MISS;
  • Create, develop and maintain a security training capacity; for ICD Security planning based on the risk level;
  • Advise management regarding security issues;
  • Ensure compliance with the OHS Act.

Requirements: Applicants should be in possession of a Senior Certificate with commercial subjects. A recognized qualification in Auditing will be an added advantage. Post : Chief Director: Information Management and Research (Ref: 4/3/1/1)
Salary : Total package up to: R533 754 per annum. This inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary (60%), the state’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured i.t.o. applicable rules. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement

Requirements: A bachelors degree plus experience in information management. Strong conceptual and formulation skills, strong leadership skills with the ability to display literal thinking in complex applications, team building and strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, outstanding planning, organizing and people management skills and project management skills. Understanding of, and vast experience in driving critical transformation issues. Problem solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of financial management processes.   • Management of Information Management System and Research, oversee the management of the Information Management System (IMS) which include Communication and Marketing, Complaints Registry and Monitoring, Statistics, Library Services, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as well as database management.
  • Management of the Chief Directorate’s strategic and business planning process, human, financial, physical information and statutory resources
  • Act as a Programme Manager for the Chief Directorate: Information Management and Research.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent qualification coupled with appropriate and proven experience at managerial level. A thorough knowledge and understanding of criminal law, project management, SAPS investigative systems and procedures, human rights and government’ s broad transformation objectives and initiatives are essential. Sound interpersonal and strong communication, change management and leadership skills. Experience in financial, human resource and asset management and ability to work under pressure. Valid driver’s licence and computer literacy are essential.

Duties: Key Performance Areas:

  • Financial, asset, human resource and performance management;
  • Overall management of operations of investigations; monitoring, administration and complaints registry in the Province;
  • Establishing strong partnerships between the department and key stakeholders in the Province;
  • The effective and efficient management of the provincial office;
  • Providing strategic leadership / support to the Department in terms of high level planning, monitoring and reviewing of delivery against strategic objectives;
  • Maintaining discipline and sound labour relations;
  • Management and supervision of staff.

Post : Principal Investigator: Anti – Corruption Command
Salary : R 116 658 per annum
Centre : Pretoria

Requirements : The incumbent should be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree/ diploma or equivalent qualification. The post requires proactive investigation experience conducting undercover operations and full and practical knowledge of entrapment / “buy bust” or similar legislation. The candidates must possess a valid driver’s licence and be computer literate, the successful must in addition, be willing to de deployed nationally and work under extreme pressure. Working experience gained in agencies such as the organized crime and Anti Corruption units or similar bodies will be an added advantage. Successful applicant must be willing to work on standby and irregular hours.

Post : Senior Investigator
Salary: R 93 936 per annum
Centre: Kwa-Zulu Natal

Requirements : A Law/Policing or relevant applicable tertiary qualification, coupled with practical experience in Legal/Paralegal practice or extensive experience in the field of criminal investigations. Knowledge of Criminal and Procedural Law, Law of Evidence and interpretation of statutes are essential. Good report writing skills as well as verbal and written communication skills are definite requirements. The successful candidate must be willing to perform standby duties and overtime. The candidate must be computer literate and also posses a valid card driver’s licence

Duties : Key Performance Areas:

  • Interviewing and taking statements from witnesses and suspects;
  • Attending post mortems and crime scenes;
  • Collecting and safeguarding exhibits and compiling memoranda and reports regarding specific recommendations to the Director of Public Prosecutions and the SAPS;
  • Conducting investigations against police members, seizures and searches, collection of evidence etc;
  • Drafting of investigative reports manually and electronically;
  • Updating cases on the database.
